Nancy Farrar, PA

Nancy Farrar, physician assistant, was born in Florida where she also raised her two daughters. She attended Jacksonville University in Florida and graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana with an undergraduate degree in biology. She remained there working in a research laboratory at the medical school studying the molecular biology of hemachromatosis, a liver disease. Nancy then moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and attended the physician assistant program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, graduating in 1995. She worked as a physician assistant in family practice in Irving for eight years prior to joining Texas Digestive Disease Consultants in 2003. She enjoys all aspects of gastroenterology. Nancy is a board certified physician assistant, a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. Her outside interests include spending time with her husband, two daughters, and three granddaughters, running, and sailing.
