Dr. Andrew Holt

Dr. Andrew Holt was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina and was raised in Edmond, Oklahoma. He attended Baylor University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Magna Cum Laude. He received his medical degree at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas where he was elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Holt completed his residency in internal medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital / Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his three-year fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Holt joined Texas Digestive Disease Consultants in July 2006, practicing in Lewisville, Flower Mound and Keller. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. Dr. Holt is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Gastroenterology. His areas of special interest include colorectal cancer screening and liver disease. His outside interests include music, reading, running, college football and basketball, Civil War history, and attending church. He enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and extended family.
