Dr. S. Neil Mehta

Dr. S. Neil Mehta was raised in Canada. He completed his undergraduate studies (with first class honors) and received his medical degree from the University of Alberta in 1991. He completed his internal medicine residency in 1994, also at the University of Alberta. Dr. Mehta subsequently moved to Montreal where he completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at McGill University in 1997. Dr. Mehta is a recipient of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy scholarship in Advanced Endoscopic Training and has authored many papers/chapters in several leading medical journals relating to the field of gastroenterology. Dr. Mehta is board certified in gastroenterology. Dr. Mehta's areas of special interest include colorectal cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, and hepatobiliary disorders. His interests outside of the office include spending time with his family, traveling, and hockey.
