| Dr. Michael Nunez
Dr. Michael Nunez was raised in New Orleans
and is a summa cum laude graduate of Louisiana State University
with a degree in biochemistry. From there he moved to North
Carolina and received his medical degree from Duke University.
Dr. Nunez continued his medical studies in Dallas, completing
an internship and residency in internal medicine at the
University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1994.
He remained at UT Southwestern to complete fellowships in
gastroenterology and advanced therapeutic endoscopy.
He is board certified in gastroenterology and his practice
encompasses all areas of gastroenterology and hepatology
including advanced endoscopic techniques and diagnostic
and therapeutic applications of endoscopic ultrasound.
Dr. Nunez is a member of the clinical faculty at Presbyterian
Hospital of Dallas where he also serves as clinical director
of the nutrition support team. He enjoys music, woodworking
and outdoor activities with his wife and three children
as well as coaching his sons’ lacrosse team.
