Dr. Charles T. Richardson

Dr. Charles Richardson is originally from Longview, Texas. He completed his undergraduate studies at Baylor University in Waco, and earned his medical degree in 1966 at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Dr. Richardson did his residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas and completed his fellowship at the Veterans Administration Hospital and UT Southwestern Medical Center in 1971. Dr. Richardson is board certified in internal medicine and has served in many prestigious positions including Chief of Gastroenterology at the VA Hospital in Dallas from 1977-1984, professor of internal medicine at UT Southwestern Medical School from 1983-1989, and Chief of Staff at the VA Medical Center from 1984-1988. Dr. Richardson is currently attending physician and director of the Liver and Pancreas Disease Center at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Richardson belongs to the American Gastroenterological Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Texas Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and many others. Dr. Richardson's special interests in gastroenterology include gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease, and colon cancer. Outside of the office, Dr. Richardson enjoys jogging, cycling, and hiking.
