Greenville | Dr. Fayez G. Seif Dr. Fayez G. Seif was born in Cairo, Egypt. His undergraduate studies and medical degree were earned at the Cairo University and School of Medicine, where he graduated with highest honors. He also earned a Master of Science in Biochemistry while attending Cairo University.
Dr. Seif completed his internship and residency at the New York Medical College and Westchester County Medical Center. He completed his Fellowship there as well, where he was awarded a Certificate of Distinction for Recognition of Excellence in Teaching, and a Certificate of Distinction for third prize in the Senior Resident Research Competition.
Dr. Seif also attended additional post graduate classes; Training in Clinical Esophageal/Esophageal Motility at Donald Castell’s Motility Laboratory at the Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology as well as Internal Medicine.
After his studies were completed, he entered private practice in El Paso, Texas. Dr. Seif relocated to the DFW Metro area in 1998.
Dr. Seif is currently serving as the Medical Director of Texas GI Endoscopy Center in Mesquite, as well as the Medical Director for Greenville Physicians Surgery Center in Greenville, Texas. He is a fellow of the American Gastroenterology Association, a member of the Texas Medical Association, the Dallas County Medical Society, and a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has had numerous articles published on studies conducted in gastroenterological medicine. |
