Dr. Grace Vanesko

Dr. Grace Vanesko was born in Takoma Park, Maryland and completed her undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Her medical degree was obtained from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1991. She completed her internship and residency in 1994 at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital. In 1996, Dr. Vanesko completed her fellowship in gastroenterology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and was on staff between 1996 and 1998. Dr. Vanesko is board certified in gastroenterology. She has been with Texas Digestive Disease consultants since 1998 and is a member of several professional associations including the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Physicians, and the Texas Medical Association. Her special interests in gastroenterology include ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. Outside of the office, Dr. Vanesko enjoys spending time with her children, reading, and traveling.
