Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
I find the field of gastroenterology very interesting and diverse.
Do you have a specialty of interest within GI?
I am interested in Esophageal motor disorders, GERD, IBS, IBD womens digestive health, colon cancer screening, treatment of liver disorder including Hepatitis C, Ideal Protein weight loss and hemorrhoid banding.

What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?
I have been married to my wife for 11 years and we have three rambunctious boys. During family time we enjoy visiting the zoo, area parks, and swimming. I also enjoy golf and spending as much time as I can with our extended family. We are active members of Crossroads Baptist Church and during my time off I am blessed to serve on medical mission trips across the globe.
